MULLIKEN MEDICAL CENTER

The Project – the primary multi-specialty HMO Clinic in a large clinic system, located on the ground floor of a two story office building. It consumes one quarter of the overall building space and is adjacent to the Corporation's administrative offices. The facility contains seven patient waiting areas, an optical boutique/retail shop, reception/business offices, medical records, physicians' private offices, exam and procedures rooms, x-ray/mammography department, laboratory/blood draw rooms, physical therapy treatment cubicles and exercise area, treadmill/EKG area and six nurse stations. The project was configured for an administrative/nursing staff of thirty-one and fourteen physicians.

Special Features:

• Individual physician areas, open to the main corridor, keeping private practicing character
• Occupational medicine area with separate building entrance, doubles as after hours center.
• After hours center, combination reception/nurse station, reducing staff requirements
• Combination exam/drug testing room
• Optical boutique/retail shop with semi private - contact lens fitting area
• Unique way finding system
