THE SUNCAL COMPANIES

The Project -–  SunCal Companies Headquarter offices are located at the intersection of the 405 and Von Karman Boulevard. The project started with an existing single story tilt up that had not been occupied for sometime. SGI was hired to reposition the structure so that it would fit with surrounding neighborhood. Some of the surrounding tenants are Taco Bell HQ, Entrepreneurial Magazine, etc. We were directed by SunCal to strip the structure to the four wall and start over. All new systems, starting from structural to Mechanical, Electrical and plumbing were installed along with new architectural elements such as an eighty foot interior skylight, the sandblasting of the exterior concrete and new phanalic blue panels on the exterior of the building.

All new interior elements were implemented. Some of these finishes are all new Maple doors, maple framed glazing, lighting and other new finishes. At the same time SGI was responsible for all furniture specifications and procurement.
