SURGERY CENTER

The Project – A private practice combination of office and certified surgery center located on the third floor of a multi story medical office building. The physicians' office contains a patient waiting area, physicians' private office, exam rooms, photo room, reception/business and office manager offices with file room and an employee lounge. The surgery center portion of the space was planned to meet Title 24 requirements for reconstructive surgery procedures. It contains surgery and procedure rooms with an adjacent scrub area, nurse station, clean and soiled utility rooms, pre-op and recovery areas, medical gas and janitorial closets and storage rooms. The project was configured for an administrative/nursing staff of nine and two physicians.

Special Features:

• Upgraded physician office of polished hardwood millwork/cabinetry, etched glass and granite
• Upgraded surgery center with an open spacious appearance including sculptural muntined viewing windows
• Medical gases and other life support systems were organized for efficiency, function and aesthetic appearance
